What are the things I can do with the FCTA Online Payment Portal?

A.

1. Online Application for land (i.e. applications for Statutory right of occupancy).
2. Online Applications for legal searches.
3. Online Payments of bills for land and properties.
4. Keeping track of the payments to the FCTA and resultant receipts.
5. Logging complaint and issues to the FCTA.

 

Q. As a property owner, how can do i get registered on the FCTA Online Payment Portal?
A.

Properties (FILE NUMBERS) are currently being uploaded to the FCTA portal so its expected that your property is already registered. In order to confirm,
1. Go to the FCTA Portal at www.fctonlinepayment.com .
2. On the Federal Capital Territory Authority home page. Navigate to “Has your property been registered?"and then Click "Check here".
4. Enter your file number and click "Confirm". If your property has been registered, you'll be given a default password to log into the portal.
5. If your property has not been registered, navigate to the link "Register property now" and register your property yourself.

 

Q. How long does it take for my Property registration to be approved?
A.

All applications for property registrations will be reviewed by AGIS within a period of 48hrs.

 

Q. How do i pay for my bills?
A.

In order to pay bills on the FCTA Portal, you have to be a bonafide property owner with a valid FILE NUMBER. Then follow the steps above to check if your FILE NUMBER(Property) has been registered. If your FILE NUMBER(Property) has been registered then proceed to log into the portal.

 

Q. What other kinds of applications are available?

1. Private statutory right of occupancy: Private/individual.
2. Private statutory right of occupancy: Commercial.
3. Legal searches.

 

Q. How do i make payments for these applications?
A.

All payments for these applications will be made online. After completing the forms, you'll be presented with an interface to make your payments. Payments should NOT be made at designated banks for the applications above. The imterface will accept payments from
1. All Etransact enabled cards.
2. All interswitch enabled cards.

 

Q. Are the FCTA E-transact cards rechargeable?
A.

Yes, they are.

 

Q. How much can be loaded into the E-transact card?
A.

You can load as much money as you want into the E-transact card.

 

Q. Can the E-transact card be used for any other payment other than land related bills?
A.

Will I get a confirmation informing me that my application has been submitted?

 

Q. What is Login Failure?
A. Login failure is as a result of the wrong username or password supplied during portal login to the FCT portal. The user needs to verify username and password.
1. Check the spellings of your username.
2. ensure your Cap lock on your keyboard is off.
3. re-enter your password.
4. Navigate your mouse and click on Login button.
If you registered your property yourself, you'll not be able to login until your registration has been approved
NB: If the login details fail after three attempts, you are advised to call FCT help desk for further assistance.
